weather sources

Depending on the features used and the data available, MétéoPlan may rely on various numerical weather forecasting models, observational data, forecast data and other meteorological sources provided by third-party organizations or services.

Weather data is derived from models and forecasting systems which, by their very nature, contain a margin of uncertainty. A weather forecast is an estimate of the conditions likely to occur and does not guarantee the conditions actually observed on the ground.

The results and indicators calculated by MétéoPlan from this data may also be affected by uncertainties, updates, possible errors or limitations of the source data.

The weather sources, models, and services used by MétéoPlan may change, be modified, replaced, or become temporarily unavailable. MétéoPlan may adapt its sources or calculation methods when necessary for the operation or improvement of the service.

The user acknowledges that the meteorological information and the resulting analyses constitute information to aid decision-making and cannot be considered a guarantee of the weather conditions actually encountered.
